🔴 The creator of the anime Akira Toriyama, confirmed in an interview that if he had not seen Drunken Master (1978) starring Jackie Chan, he would’ve never came up with the idea of Dragon Ball, he was a big fan of martial art films and Jackie Chan.
- Toriyama himself mentioned in 2013 that Chan would have been a perfect candidate to play Goku in a live action and Jackie Chan himself who is a fan of anime also stated that he would have liked to participate in a real-action adaptation.
