From Imus to St. Benilde, we’re grateful for another opportunity to sing, learn, and create music together. ✨

It was such a joy to share a selection of choral pieces close to our hearts, and an even greater joy to experience how technology can enhance the way we perform, listen, and connect with our music. Truly a milestone for us as a choir! 💛

A heartfelt thank you to Sir Patrick Frias and Benilde Music Production for inviting us to be part of this wonderful inaugural event. We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn, experience, and make music in such a creative space. It was even more special to share the experience alongside our friends from The Summerwind Choir! 🤍🎶

And of course, one of the highlights of the day was meeting Sir Anthony Go Villanueva of Kammerchor! 🥹

Imus, Cavite’s Himig Batingaw Choir will perform as a featured ensemble at the 1st St. Benilde Music Fest: Choral Fusion on October 3, 2026. Set for 1:30 p.m. at the Benilde Design+Arts Campus's Black Box Theater, the concert is part of the Music Production Program’s Rhythmic Symphony series.

"Let Our Actions Speak”

The Gospel of the two sons reminds us that our faith becomes meaningful when we put our words into action. It teaches us that it is never too late to make a better choice, change our ways, and respond to God's invitation with an open heart. We may not always get things right at first, but God gives us opportunities to grow, learn, and choose what is good.

As we look over our journey, the Gospel encourages us to show our love for God not only through what we say, but also through the way we treat and serve the people that we’re surrounded with. Every small act of kindness, compassion, and obedience can become a reflection of our faith. As we continue our journey, may our actions speak of God's love and inspire us to become better people each day.

🎉HIMIG BIRTHDAY CORNER | KUYA BOYING

Some people become part of Himig not only through music, but through the support and memories they leave with us. Today, we celebrate our beloved Kuya Boying and the meaningful presence he continues to share with our Himig family.

From his time in front of the choir to the support he gives behind the scenes, Kuya Boying has always been someone we can count on. Thank you for the encouragement, the guidance, and for always being there to cheer Himig on.

"Grateful for God’s Abundant Grace”

As we take our time to reflect from the gospel, we can see that the vineyard workers in the vineyard reminds us that God's blessings are given out of His great love and generosity. We may sometimes compare our lives with others, but this Gospel teaches us to appreciate the blessings that are already present in our own journey. Each of us has a different path, and God lovingly provides what we need at the right time.

Instead of comparing what we have with what others receive, we can celebrate their blessings while remaining grateful for our own. God's grace is not limited, and there is always enough of His love for each one of us. When we choose gratitude over comparison, we discover greater joy and learn to trust that God's plans for us are always filled with love and purpose.
