Work in progress.

Creating a wire-woven captured pearl component using 22-gauge round copper wire for the frame and 32-gauge copper wire for the weaving.

I love how this technique combines structure and texture, securely cradling the pearl while adding intricate detail to the design.

This piece is still in progress, but the woven frame is already bringing the pearl to life.
