The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), through its Artist Training Division, is now accepting applications for the VIRGIN LABFEST XXI WRITING FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM happening from June 16 to 28, 2026 through online sessions via Zoom and onsite meetings at the CCP Complex.

The VLF XXI WFP is a two-week mentorship program on the study and practice of dramatic writing for the stage. The Program's Writing Fellows will take part in lectures, discussions, and workshops on playwriting and script critiquing. They will also be given the opportunity to watch this year's VLF featured plays and participate in talkbacks and interactions with its playwrights and directors.

He believes that true hospitality goes beyond comfort and luxury, ensuring that every guest, employee, and community partner is treated with fairness, respect, and without prejudice. He aspires to help build inclusive institutions where hiring and promotion are based on merit, accessibility is prioritized, and diversity is valued. Alvien emphasizes that equality must be reflected not only in policies but also in everyday actions and mindset, by recognizing each individual’s inherent worth and confronting discrimination in all its forms. Losing her father at a young age and witnessing her mother’s strength taught her that a person’s worth is not defined by circumstance, but by resilience and hope. Her service as a youth volunteer further revealed how inequality becomes more visible in times of crisis, as marginalized communities struggle to recover. As a student leader, Johana is committed to creating platforms that amplify marginalized voices through education, health awareness, livelihood initiatives, and collaborative partnerships. To our participants, thank you for answering the call to represent our campus. You have showcased the best of Himamaylan City Campus to the entire WVSU system, and for that, we are immensely proud of you.

To our medics and student volunteers, led by Ma’am Honeylen Makilan, your commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone throughout the week-long celebration is deeply appreciated.

To our dearest coaches, your unwavering guidance and mentorship have been instrumental in shaping our students into determined and disciplined individuals.
