The Living Word
(2 Timothy 3:10–17)

For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it pierces even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight; everything is uncovered and exposed before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who was tempted in every way that we are, yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

John the apostle , is talking about The worldly pleasures of this world, which is for temporary, the lust of the flesh, Material minded, greedy. These will leads a man to Sin.John the apostle is saying that these will pass away because these pleasures are temporary. But a spiritual man will stand still as he is not carnal man .spiritual man does the will of God. the system of this world will pass away Because it is filled with what god hates.All this will be gone away when the Lord comes, and a new kingdom will be established where there will be nothing that God hates.

1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world passes away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides for ever.

Man is a sinner and only a Savior is the answer to man's sin problem. Fallen man seeks answers in many different places, but God has purposed that there is one Deliver Who can release us from the domain of darkness - there is only one Savior that can rescue us from the terrible eternal consequences of our fallen state - the 'God-Man' Christ Jesus.
Because of the fall.. man was eternally separated from God and it was only by means of His gracious act of divine intervention.. (by means of the death, burial and resurrection of the eternal Son of God), that man can be delivered from the domain of darkness over which Satan, the god of this world.. exercises his satanic rule.
But by grace, through faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.. God delivered us from the domain of darkness.. and transferred us into the kingdom of His beloved Son.

Romans 12:2 ESV

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Paul is urging Christians to respond to God's mercy, His forgiveness of our sin, and His inclusion of us in His family. The appropriate reaction would be offering to Him our entire lives as a form of living, breathing sacrifice.

Next, Paul writes that we must no longer be conformed to the world. The word "world" is often used in the New Testament to refer to the "world system," or the way that every human being lives by default. John described this worldly way of living as "the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life" (1 John 2:16). By instinct, all of us chase those things in pursuit of happiness and meaning.

Paul tells us to abandon the chase for pleasure, possessions, and status—to stop living like everyone else. Instead, he urges us to be transformed from the inside out. Specifically, he writes that we must be changed in how we think, to have our minds renewed so that we can begin to understand God's will for our lives.

The Lord has promised never to leave us nor forsake us, no matter what life my throw at us. We are redeemed by the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. We have been bought with a price and we belong to the Father and His favour is upon all His children. He has promised to cover us with His gentle calm and protect us by His perfect peace, when our hearts rest in Him.

We have an assurance that the promises of God’s protection and His help are available for all who trust in the His name. The children of Israel walked through the Red Sea on dry land and yet the same waters submerged the enemies of the Lord. The flames that were heated seven time hotter did not singe a single thread on the garments of Daniel’s three companions - and yet they consumed those that would throw them into the flames.

The children of Israel faced a physical enemy and God protected them. We face a spiritual enemy, but His protection and help is equally sure and steadfast for all who are called by His name. Let us trust God at His word – let us believe what God has said and rest in the knowledge that it is the God of the universe Who says to each one of us

Suddenly, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, and with force and power; by the power of Christ, and by the ministry and means of the holy angels; and to which rapture will contribute, the agility which the bodies both of the raised and changed saints will have: and this rapture of the living saints will be with the dead in Christ, that will then be raised; so that the one will not come before the other, or the one be sooner with Christ than the other; but the one being raised and the other changed, they will be joined in one company and general assembly, and be caught up together.

- Are you ready when the rapture comes?
- Did you repent from your sins and follow Jesus?
