The Philippine Biodome is an urban sanctuary attraction that allows visitors to walk through a self-contained, human-made ecosystem inside a greenhouse-like dome. The Biodome is a facility designed to preserve and exhibit a robust collection of plant life as well as land and aquatic animals, for conservation, education, and display to the public. The Biodome’s unique design maintains its enormous
structural strength and integrity. The Biodome supports itself without the use of internal columns or interior load-bearing walls and an aerial walkway as high as 7 meters above the ground enable visitors to gain a bird’s eye view of the plant life and animal habitats below. With 100 unique terrestrial and aquatic plants species with more than 50,000 plants and over 300 animals from more than 50 species. All plant species form a biotic community with the animals living inside the Biodome. Using 100% Pure Renewable Energy, The Philippine Biodome will outsource power from Bac-man Geothermal Inc. (BGI), the Philippines’ pioneer provider of 100% renewable energy (RE) and 100% Recycled Water Source, to utilize recycled water from our STP, turning wastewater into completely safe and potable drinkable water. The Philippine Biodome will be a 3,220 square-meter facility located in the Manila Ocean Park Complex in Ermita, City of Manila. The Philippine Biodome will be developed by China Oceanis Philippines, Inc., one of the leading developers and operators of hotel and marine-themed attractions in Asia.
