🌺 Hello lovelies! I’m so sorry I haven’t posted any original work in a while! School has me kept busier than usual, especially when this whole e-learning thing has me a week behind on schoolwork! 🌺
🌺 Fortunately, I’m pretty sure that I’m caught up with as much as I have to be for this week. I’ve missed a little bit more as well due to my wisdom teeth surgery, and I never realized how hard people who have surgery have it! And my face is kind of looking more square than usual today 🌺
🌺 Anywho, this is a rather lazy attempt for me to finish my part of the art trade with ! She wanted me to draw Ahri, and I’m here with star guardian Ahri! (I’m sorry it doesn’t look the best and the proportions look kind of funky, but I hope you still like it one way or the other) 🌺

(Especially you :( ) I’ve decided to be a part of e-learning, and the people in charge decided to delay my E-Learning by a week, so I’m sort of behind on work! And I just got all four of my wisdom teeth pulled out! 🦷 the stitches kind of hurt, but I’ll push through :) 🌺

🌺 I decided to do star guardian Ahri because it’s one of the most beautiful skins out of all of the many, MANY skins the champ was given. Though I’ll have to figure out how to color fur.... 🌺

🌺 Hello Lovelies! Here I am with another Dtiys for 500 followers! My goodness, I didn’t think I could get as far as I really could without all your support! I’m glad I joined Instagram this year. It made me push myself with my art in ways that I didn’t think I could achieve. I mean, I only dreamed of being able to paint like this, now eight months later I’m actually doing it! 🌺 Usually this is where I give info about the character but honestly, I came up with this one on a complete whim. I was just doodling in my sketch book and just wanted to test around with the silhouette of a butterfly and that’s how I made this character! For what she wears, I can leave it completely up to you! Whether or she’s rich or poor, completely up to you. However, I can give you one thing to go off of: people call her The Monarch 🌺

🌺 Hello lovelies! So, this post is actually a bit different. A year ago today, my grandmother (we called her Mamang) passed away due to heart failure. It affects my mom at just the thought of it. Because she lived on the other side of the world, I never got to know her that well. That was one of the perks of being the child of immigrants: you’re kind of cut off from your other relatives in your life. However, I wish that I knew her so much better 🌺
🌺 I’ve heard only stories of her kindness, and when my mom went back to the Philippines to attend her funeral, people that Mamang had fed in the streets and strangers she helped attended as well. I didn’t know she was such a kind woman, and I really wish I could live up to her example 🌺
🌺 I’m really sorry about the somberness of this one. Surprisingly, I’m actually kind of proud of this one, and I’m kind of proud of the work on the roses. Definitely an improvement compared to my last encounter with roses (yikesss. I’ll probably have to redraw that one) 🌺
🌺 If you stuck around this long, I appreciate everything all of you have done for me. Thank you for supporting my art, and thank you for letting me experience so much more than I would’ve had if I didn’t have all of you 🌺

🌺 Hello Lovelies! I’m here with another grayscale WIP of the newest DTIYS for 500! I just want to say, thank you so much to everyone for letting me get this far! It was such a dream for me to have so many friends and so much support for my art, and definitely a dream to see how much my art has improved! 🌺
🌺 With this OC I actually just made her up on the spot. For now, I’m calling her Monarch. I was experimenting with silhouettes for characters, and I was thinking of a butterfly silhouette for her hair! I really liked the idea, and made it even more interesting with the one eye! I haven’t yet thought of a color scheme for her...but I’m open for any suggestions do her!🌺

🌺 Congrats to for getting to 2K! You deserve so much and more for such gorgeous art! I can only dream of getting there 🌺
🌺 In all honesty this was kind of hard for me because I tried so many new things in this one! Once again I experimented with grayscale to color, and the colors looked a little too washed out so I attempted to fix it. Then there was the cloud hair. It doesn’t really look like the sort of color scheme for the original, but I attempted to go for a sunset sort of ordeal, and clouds just decide to turn pink. Then there was the water. I was proud of it in the moment, and looking at it now, it just looks incredibly murky! Oh well, practice makes perfect, I’ll get it right next time 🌺
🌺 Btw we’re almost at 500 followers! Thank you so much for letting me get as far as I have gotten! I’m sorry I’m not so active all the time, and the Instagram algorithm is not happy with me for some reason, so I’m just trying to be a little more casual with my art this time around 🌺

🌺 Hello lovelies! It certainly has been a while since I’ve posted lol. I didn’t think I would post three days in a row! It’s quite feat, don’t you think? 🌺
🌺 I thought of continuing my Avatar the Last Airbender fanart line, and decided to make my submission for the challenge! At first, I wanted to draw as the Painted Lady, but I really wanted to do a dynamic pose with her character. I realized that it would be too complex for this , so I decided to draw best girl (right behind Toph) Mai! She deserves some love right now Anyways.
🌺 When I was finished the Before part of Mai, I thought that the portrait looked weird. So, I basically wasted a majority of my time trying to fix her face. The eyes kept looking weird and crooked, and my perfectionist mind couldn’t let it go. In the end, it turned out fine enough. This was once again a grayscale to color, hence why the values actually seem waaayy better and way easier to incorporate in the drawing. Would you guys like to see a tutorial or speedpaint on grayscale?🌺
🌺 I actually didn’t expect the After portrait to look like this in the end. You guys banned big eyes, and I couldn’t figure out how to make them small without being racist, so I incorporated a little chibi-ish style into the linework. It took around an hour to make 😂 and I love the cool colors 🌺

🌺 Hello again Lovelies! I’m back with another post! This was my first full project using grayscale soley for the characters. I know for the work in progress post I put in a crowd with umbrellas. And then I got lazy and didn’t have the energy or motivation to do a crowd, so I did a simple fence with rain. I hope you like this one !!! 🌺
🌺 Once again, I kind of just got lazy with this one. I was doing pretty good on grayscale, put in a Solid amount of effort of coloring on the girl, and then I just wanted to get this over with 😂 🌺
🌺 Seeing as I have problems with appreciating my arts, I guess I could look for some positives. I mean, I’m pretty impressed with how this grayscale to color painting turned out in the end! I’m also really surprised how little time it took to complete! Second, the rain effects were easier than I thought they would be, the least effort put into them, but they look great in my opinion! I guess I’m also pretty proud on the lighting effects on the sides! 🌺
🌺 I don’t think it really fits my page, but I’m still kind of proud of this nonetheless :) despite my urge to go back and fix some of the small little mistakes here and there. Curse my perfectionism lol🌺

🌺 Hello Lovelies! One day, I was scrolling through Instagram, and I couldn’t help but notice a sort of new trend coming along called the challenge! Basically, it’s where your followers say certain things about your art style (example: you draw girls mostly, your characters have small eyes), and I have to make sure NOT to draw those certain aspects that are pointed out 🌺
🌺 I was able to make a story on Instagram asking you all what do you notice about my art style, and I got a TON of things that I didn’t realize about my artwork. So thank you for the insight! 🌺
🌺 Honestly, I thought it wouldn’t do any harm if I managed to bring out the question into a post. So be free to try to challenge me! I love trying out new things 🌺 .
