While Meisner relies on spontaneous, external reactions to build a character, Stanislavsky’s system builds the character from the inside out using deep psychological analysis and structured intention.

Where a Meisner actor asks, "How is my partner making me feel right now?", a Stanislavsky actor asks, "What is my character's motivation, and what must I do to achieve it?"

Which one is better? Well ... does it matter? 😂

Theatre in Black is officially accepting self-tape auditions for our upcoming production of KIKO: The St. Francis of Assisi Musical!

We are looking for passionate actors and singers to bring this powerful story to life. Whether you are a seasoned veteran of the stage or looking to make your theatrical debut, we want to see your talent.

How to Audition:
We’ve made the process incredibly simple. Prepare your headshot, theatrical resume, and your video links (slate, vocal, and acting sides), and submit everything directly through our online portal.

📍 Open to: Local talent in Davao City and beyond!
📅 Submission Deadline: 11:59PM, August 21, 2026
