We’re grateful to have been invited to the 21st General Assembly of the Davao Colleges and Universities Network held at the University of the Immaculate Conception last July 17. We also got the chance to sing our winning piece from the DACUN Hymn Songwriting Competition — our first official performance since the contest! It was such a joy to share it in front of the DACUN Board and committee. Thank you so much for having us! ❤️

As you close this chapter and step into a new one, we just want to say how proud we are of you. You’ve not only grown in your own journeys, but you’ve also left a beautiful mark on our choir through your voices, your friendship, and your strength.

We are happy and excited to announce our first-ever victory as champions of the DACUN Choral Competition today, May 25. Adding to this milestone is our remarkable triumph in the Songwriting Competition—a moment made even more special thanks to Ma’am Elsa Corbit, the talented composer and arranger of the new DACUN Hymn. Truly, a momentous occasion worth celebrating for the entire Holy Cross of Davao College community.

To the institution, thank you for your unending support for the choir. This means a lot to us. To more victories ahead!

On this day, we celebrate the legacy of the Asia’s Queen of Song Pilar Corrales, also widely known as Pilita Corrales, who was a Filipino pop singer, songwriter, actress, comedian and television presenter. She embodied the true beauty of the Philippines through songs filled with her soul-touching voice. Gaining international popularity and recognition for her outstanding performances.

We feature the song “Usahay” composed by Gregorio Responso Labja, choral arrangement by Amiel G. Baculna, and popularized by the one and only Pilita Corrales, as a tribute.
