"GINTONG PAMANA: Bata ang Bukas (The Children, Our Future)"

The Balon Dagupan Children and Youth Choir(BDCYC), led by Music Conductor Ms. Virginia Llamas-Mendoza, has been invited by the NAMCYA to be one of the featured artists of the Children's Choir Concert last April 29, 2023 at the Ayala Museum, Makati City. Together with the UP Cherubims and Seraphims and the Loboc Children's Choir.

It was indeed a great privilege for the BDCYC to be part of this special event by the National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA) as they celebrate their 50th year.

The BDCYC would like to express their sincerest gratitude to Mayor Belen Fernandez, all the organizers, guests, and participants of NAMCYA, Mr. Jean Paul Casaclang, Ms. Karen Mae Entendez-Jimenez, Mr. Mike Jimenez, Mr. Glenn Aquias, Mr. David Jorvina, Ms. Minn Mendoza, Mr. Gabrielle James Frias, Tita Gwen, Ate Kim, Tita Beth, Mr. Mike, Mr. Eric, all the sponsors, also, to the supportive family of our beloved BDCYC members. BALON DAGUPAN CHILDREN & YOUTH CHOIR,
IPAPAMALAS ANG GALING SA AYALA MUSEUM 🎶

Maipapamalas muli ng internationally-acclaimed Balon Dagupan Children and Youth Choir (BDCYC) ang kanilang angking talent sa pag-awit sa isang concert entitiled ‘Bata Ang Bukas’ (The Children, Our Future) na isasagawa ng National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA) sa April 29, 2023 sa Ayala Museum.

Ayon kay Ms. Virginia Llamas-Mendoza, conductor ng BDCYC, naimbitahan ang kanilang grupo upang mag-perform at i-represent ang Luzon sa nasabing event kasama ang University of the Philippines Cherubims and Seraphims at ang Loboc Children’s Choir.

Bahagi ito ng kick-off activities para sa 'Gintong Pamana: The 2023 NAMCYA Festivals and Competitions’ ng NAMCYA upang ipagdiwang ang kanilang 50 years ng pag-discover ng mga magagaling na musicians sa Pilipinas.

Nitong March 20 sa City Plaza, personal na nagpasalamat ang BDCYC sa love at support ni Mayor Belen Fernandez sa kanilang mga shows at competitions tulad na lamang noong December ng nakaraang taon kung saan nag-perform sila sa Family Style Fun Fest Night Market sa Rivergrove Lifestyle Center.

Hinirang na champion ang BDCYC sa iba’t-ibang national at international competitions tulad ng 1st Malaysia Festival Choir Competition, Children’s Choir Category noong 2016; National Music Competition for Young Artists, Children’s Category noong 2017; at sa Voyage of Songs, Junior Youth Category nitong 2019 sa Thailand.
