Bantayog Art Awards

Bantayog Art Awards The Bantayog Art Awards is a visual art competition , which aims to support and promote art development in Bicol Region.

Welcome to the Bantayog Art Awards 2023! Founded in 2017 by the Camarines Norte Artist Guild (CNAG), this annual art award celebrates the creativity and talent of artists from the province of Camarines Norte and the wider Bicol region. Our mission is to recognize and honor emerging artists who have significant potential in visual arts. We strive to provide a platform for artists to showcase their

works, and to encourage the growth and development of the arts in the region. Each year, we invite artists from Camarines Norte and now neighboring provinces to submit their works for consideration by a panel of esteemed judges. The category of the award is only painting, and have plans to expand in sculpture, photography, and mixed media, and the winners are announced at a special awards ceremony. The Bantayog Art Awards has become a highly anticipated event in the arts calendar of Camarines Norte and for the first time the whole Bicol region, attracting a wide range of artists and art enthusiasts. Through our award, we hope to inspire and motivate artists to continue pursuing their passion and to contribute to the vibrant and dynamic arts scene in Camarines Norte, the whole Bicol Region and beyond. While we were unable to hold the award during the pandemic, we are excited to resume our annual tradition. We look forward to continuing to celebrate the talent and creativity of the artists in our region for many years to come.

LIKHANG OBRA, PINAGYABONG NGAYONG BANTAYOG FESTIVAL

|| Josena Mabeza

Nagkaroon din ng Ribbon Cutting na pinangunahan naman ng Provincial Tourism Officer Mr. Mariano β€œB**g” Palma, at Mr. Dhon Jason de Belen, President of the CNAG and Committee Chairman of the Bantayog Art Awards (BAA).
