Bartholomew Kuma - Tha man who sacrificed Everything.

Therefore, his decision to scatter the Straw Hats was not only to protect them but also to invest in the future of the world. He was safeguarding the key to its liberation. This is further evidenced by his final act of free will before his consciousness was completely erased: he had Dr. Vegapunk program his mindless body to protect the Straw Hats' ship, the Thousand Sunny, until their return.

In the end, Bartholomew Kuma's seemingly cruel act was one of the greatest sacrifices in the series. A man who had lost everything—his freedom, his love, and his very self—gave his last moments of consciousness to ensure that the hope for a better world, embodied by the Straw Hat Pirates, would not be extinguished. He was not a tyrant who sought their destruction, but a savior who orchestrated their growth, a silent guardian who paid the ultimate price for the future he would never see.
