José Buttó says goodbye to the Mets:

"Thank you to the Mets organization for taking a chance on a kid from Cumaná, Venezuela and giving me the opportunity to make my childhood dream a reality. They were 9 years full of memories starting with those first few days at Dominican Summer League.

There are so many more moments that come to mind from my debut to our playoffs from last year. They are memories that I will never forget.

Thank you God for so many blessings, for the health, and for allowing me to do what I love. A huge thank you to my teammates, coaches, trainers, the entire staff, and to the amazing and passionate Mets fans.
Me and my family will always be grateful for our time in the organization."

BREAKING: Gov. Cox Declares State of Emergency in Utah.

Wildfire danger is escalating statewide — 693 fires and nearly 114,000 acres burned already in 2025. With 22 Red Flag Warning days behind us, conditions remain volatile.

Gov. Cox has activated Utah’s Emergency Operations Plan and could deploy the National Guard to protect lives, homes, and vital water supplies. Fire crews are working around the clock in heroic efforts to defend communities.

Please stay alert, follow evacuation orders if issued, and avoid any fire-prone activity. Utah needs all of us on board right now.
