Hi there! You'll usually find me behind the scenes (I've spent 12+ years in digital marketing! ๐Ÿ’ป). Today, I'm stepping out to properly introduce myself as one of the foundersโ€”and teachersโ€”at The Upside. ๐Ÿš€

I've been training in pole and aerial arts since 2012. ๐Ÿคธโ€โ™€๏ธ It hasn't been a perfect, linear journey. Like many people, I've had seasons where life, work, and motherhood took priority, and returning meant ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฏ๐˜‚๐—ถ๐—น๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ด๐˜๐—ต ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ณ๐—ถ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—น ๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ป. But I've learned the value of simply showing up, no matter where my body is at on any given day. ๐Ÿ’ช

Before we officially became The Upside, we went through a lot of brainstorming๐Ÿง  to find something that really captured our mission. The runner-ups?

๐Ÿšซ Beyond Limits: We loved the idea of moving past physical boundaries, but we wanted a name that felt less like a pressure-cooker and more like a safe, low-pressure space.
๐Ÿšซ The High Vibe: We are all about good energy, but it felt just a little too abstract.
๐Ÿšซ The Vertical Flow: Beautiful for our yoga classes, but it didn't fully capture the playfulness of our aerial, pole, and kids' classes.

The verdict? The Upside: Aerial & Pole Studio ๐Ÿค

It represents what we do on two levels. Physically, itโ€™s a cheeky yesss to going Upside down on the apparatus. But emotionally, it highlights the positive shift... the "Upside" of your day where you get to reclaim your time, rebuild your confidence, and see strength from a brand-new perspective! โœจ
