So yesterday was rainy and gloomy, which meant I couldn't spray MSC to start my commissions. ๐Ÿ™ˆ And you know that feeling, cold weather, perfect for sleeping. ๐Ÿ˜† But instead of actually sleeping, I picked up my phone while lying down and that's when I saw some really pretty nail inspo. My brain immediately went into "let's overcomplicate my life" mode. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿคฃ

So yeah, I ended up making BJD nails instead, wahahaha! ๐Ÿ˜… And then mid-process, one of the nails fell off, I swear I almost had a full meltdown right there. Hahaha... ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ but it was so worth it once it was finally done. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅฐ

Showing you some before and after pics of the lip texturing and gloss lines I did on this Look Mountain Kira uncle head commission. I really, really like looking at macro shots of the faceups I do.๐Ÿฅฐ

Too bad my macro lens can only really capture the lip details well, ๐Ÿ˜… if I try using it for close-ups of the eyes and eyebrows, they end up distorted. So annoying! ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ™ƒ But honestly, I'm still thankful to have my old macro lens for my phone. It's literally my best friend whenever I take close-up pictures to check my painting details, nyahahaha! ๐Ÿ˜‚ My phone camera alone just doesn't cut it, plus my eyesight is terible, lol. ๐Ÿค“๐Ÿ™ƒ

Anyway, I was just gonna share the before and after of the lip glossing, but I mumble too much, LOL.๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚ Through experimenting on my BJD heads though, I've learned that lip texturing+lip line glossing gives so much more depth to the details ๐Ÿฅฐโค๏ธ especially if you're aiming for a semi-real or realistic look. Somehow this got buried in my camera roll for a bit coz I got so busy balancing commissions, posting, selling, and a lot more, as you know, DollTita is a one-woman army! Hahaha ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜† Anyway, sharing with you these beautiful BJD nail sets I made for a lovely client (Tenchu sis R!). ๐Ÿฅฐโค๏ธ Three gorgeous sets consisting of sparkly red, dark brownish red, and a sparkly n**e! ๐Ÿ’… 3 sets that can change the mood of the BJD hands. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅฐ

By the way, this set was made for a Smartdoll and I was a bit anxious coz the sizes were 1.5mm for four fingers and 2.5mm for the thumb, yes tiny!๐Ÿ˜… Which happen to be common sizes for 1/6 BJD nails too. Me and my client were both like, "YES THIS WILL DEFINITELY FIT!" ๐Ÿ˜…โค Hahaha!

Fast forward, client received the nails and they were a perfect fit! ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅฐ I'm so glad, and honestly amazed at how tiny her Smartdolls' hands are. ๐Ÿฅนโค๐Ÿฅฐ This was actually my first time doing a Smartdoll commission, and I feel so happy about the whole experience. ๐Ÿฅฐโค๐Ÿ˜ Thank you to my client for trusting me with her dolls' nails! โคโค

Sharing with you this Look Mountain Kira uncle head faceup transition that I just recently finished! โค๏ธ๐Ÿฅฐ I'm so glad I still get to do what I love, even while being your BJD agent at DollTita BJD Shop. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿฅฐ

I've been taking commissions ever since I started DollTita, but in the past I was mostly focused on the agent side of things, so I only opened a few slots for custom eyes, faceups, and other work here and there. ๐Ÿ˜… This year though, I've started opening up a few more commission slots! โค๏ธ๐Ÿฅฐ

It genuinely makes me so happy to bring my clients' visions to life whether they're going for something simple, semi-real, or realistic. I truly love doing both, being your agent and doing commissions. Weee! ๐ŸฅฐโคHonestly, it's hard for me to let either one go, because they both bring me so much joy in different ways.
