As the RTG started, the volunteers took attendance, making sure everyone was there. Once settled, they led the children in a fun action song that had everyone clapping and moving, creating a lively atmosphere for the day. After this energetic start, the volunteers talked about last weekโs lesson about Joseph the Dreamer from Genesis chapter 39. The children listened closely, remembering important parts of the story and discussing what it meant.
Next, the volunteers introduced a catchy song called "These Are My Private Parts," teaching the kids about personal boundaries. The children sang along joyfully, their voices filling the room.
To keep the kids engaged, the volunteers played an animated video from YouTube. The video was both fun and informative, sharing important safety messages. After watching, one of the volunteers explained the video in detail, stressing how important it is to stay away from older people who might offer gifts or temptations that could lead to danger. The children listened carefully, nodding as they talked about how they would tell their parents if they ever faced a similar situation.
The volunteers reminded the kids about respecting each otherโs boundaries and the importance of saying "no" to any inappropriate touch. This conversation was important in helping the children protect themselves and look out for each other.
Meanwhile, in the background, two volunteers prepared a tasty meal of bihon, buns, and bananas. Once everything was ready, one of the students led a simple prayer for the food, thanking everyone for their help and blessings.
With prayers said and spirits high, the food was served. The children eagerly filled their plates, enjoying every bite while chatting and laughing with their friends.
After eating, everyone helped clean up. Volunteers and children worked together to tidy up the space, learning about teamwork and responsibility. As the day came to an end, the volunteers gathered for a quick meeting to talk about todayโs lesson on Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and to think of ways to improve future events.
