We may not have won, but we gave life to a story that must never be forgotten. Through our performance, we honored the Cabugaoenio martyrs whose bravery and sacrifice for their homeland continue to live on.

This was not just a dance—it was remembrance, tribute, and history!

Congratulations to the Aye-Aye Dancers for proudly representing our school and showcasing the rich history and cultural heritage of the Municipality of Cabugao during the recently concluded Festival of Talents held in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur on January 29, 2026.

We also extend our sincere thanks to Sir Jeck Tengco and Sir Ralph Santiago for their invaluable technical support, and to all the parents for their constant love, trust, and support.

BAYLE SA KALYE 2026 | DFOT, Narvacan, Ilocos Sur

🌾 BIMMUAYA 🌾

BIMMUAYA: Where the Ground Remembers

A contemporary dance piece inspired by the untold sacrifice of Cabugao’s people during the Filipino–American War. On the silent plateau of Mount Bimmuaya, eighteen residents chose resistance over retreat, offering their bodies to delay an advancing colonial force. This work does not reenact the battle, but instead explores the lingering presence of sacrifice—how blood once spilled becomes memory, how land absorbs loss, and how history continues to move through the bodies of the living.

The piece unfolds as a ritual of remembrance, where the mountain breathes, the spirits remain, and Cabugao’s identity emerges from what was never forgotten.
