To stand together with more than 900 fellow Brothers and Sisters during the 37th Alpha Phi Omega National General Assembly in Boracay is more than just attending an event — it is becoming part of a living legacy built on Leadership, Friendship, and Service.
Before the official NGA proper last May 15–17, 2026, we were already united through the IHMDO Mega Service held last May 14, 2026 at Balabag Elementary School, Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan, spearheaded by the Alpha Phi Omega Alumni Council of North America (APO ACNA) in collaboration with APO Philippines Incorporated, APO Boracay AA, and APO National Service for Health.
The service activities included Blood Typing, Circumcision, Dental Services, Free Haircut, Free Eyeglasses, Medical Consultation, Free Legal Services, and Gift Giving for Kids — proving once again that Alpha Phi Omega is not only about fellowship, but genuine service to communities and humanity.
Special thanks as well to all partner organizations, volunteers, sponsors, supporters, and participating APO chapters and alumni associations who helped make the IHMDO Mega Service successful. Your dedication and generosity truly embodied the spirit of “Service Above Self.”
I am deeply honored and grateful to have been with one of the APO ACNA organizers, Bro. Egay Niñofranco, who proudly happens to be my kababayan and my Big Brother in APO. We were almost always together throughout the event until the time he had to leave earlier for home. Special thanks as well to the dedicated APO ACNA officers — Bro. Art Rivera, President, and his wife, Bro. Edward Lago, Vice President, and Bro. Francis Cuvin, Auditor, who is also from Bicol. Meeting and sharing moments with these inspiring leaders made this experience even more meaningful and unforgettable.
The APO National General Assembly is the highest governing body of APO Philippines — where delegates from chapters and alumni associations nationwide gather to strengthen brotherhood, discuss important organizational matters, uphold the fraternity’s principles, and continue the mission of service to God, country, and humanity.
But beyond the meetings and discussions… what truly makes the NGA unforgettable are the memories shared, the friendships renewed, and the realization that no matter where life takes us, we remain connected by one oath and one purpose.
Boracay became more than just a beautiful destination. It became a symbol of unity, sacrifice, leadership, and lifelong brotherhood.
To all my fellow Brothers and Sisters from all over the Philippines and around the world — thank you for the fellowship, laughter, lessons, and inspiration.
Long Live Alpha Phi Omega. Long Live the Spirit of Leadership, Friendship, and Service.
