I just found this on the internet. My dad drew this picture in the hospital bed. He had a gashed in the back of his neck, the sword did not go all the way through because the other soldier kicked him to early to fall in the hole.
Japanese soldiers killed 200 men over a hole in the floor in Manila, 1945. The image, and wound received in the event would serve as testimony in war trials against Tomoyuki Yamash*ta.
