She doesn’t scream to be heard. She watches, listens, and chooses her silence with strength. Originally painted for Women’s Month 2024, but later exhibited at SM—because she arrived when she was most needed. May her gaze remind you that even in silence, there is power.
🎨 “She Who Sees in Silence” – Acrylic on Canvas
She is the woman I once silenced within myself—now painted bold, raw, and unafraid. I created this piece originally for Women’s Month, but even though it missed the deadline, it still found its place at the SM Art Exhibit in 2024. And maybe that’s symbolic too—because women often arrive not when others expect us, but when we are most needed.
With one eye covered, she reminds us that not all truths need to be seen at once—and not all battles need to be loud. Her uncovered eye faces forward, grounded, sharp, and unwavering. She chooses what to see, what to ignore, and what to carry in silence. And still, she stands in her full power.
This painting speaks for those who have been misunderstood, judged, or overlooked. For the women who are told to be quiet, but who carry wisdom and fire in their silence. For those who protect peace over pride, and truth over applause.
To every woman who has ever felt unseen—may this remind you: you are not invisible. Your story is valid. Your strength is not in how loud you speak, but in how deeply you endure, grow, and rise.
We are not made to please the world—we are made to rise within it. And when we do, we paint it with strength, grace, and truth.”
