“PUWEDE G!”: MassKara 2025 Opens Stage for PWD Got Talent
BACOLOD CITY — In the City of Smiles, every face has a place on the festival stage. This year’s MassKara Festival once again lives up to its promise of inclusivity with “PUWEDE G!”, a special celebration dedicated to Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), proving that in Bacolod, everything is possible.
Anchored on the commitment of Mayor Greg Gasataya to ensure that all sectors of the community are represented in the festivities, PWD Got Talent will shine a spotlight on the creativity, artistry, and resilience of Bacolod’s PWD community.
“This is not just a competition—it’s a day to celebrate diversity and the many faces of MassKara. Our PWDs are proof that talent knows no limits,” said Gugma President Rodney Mitz Ascalon.

But the celebration goes beyond the spotlight. On the same day, various PWD organizations will mount a product showcase, highlighting livelihood initiatives and handcrafted goods that reflect creativity and empowerment. In another heartfelt activity, special kids, particularly those within the autism spectrum, will be treated to a delightful magic show—a reminder that MassKara is for every child, every smile, and every heart.
With events like these, the MassKara Festival continues to embrace its theme of “One Smile, One City, One Heart”, affirming that the joy of Bacolod is strongest when everyone is included.
