Don't be conned by piercers/people marketing clip/press-stud/mechanical piercing devices as "safer than guns".

They all use the earring to pierce the area - which causes blunt force trauma to the tissue.
This results in more pain, swelling and inflammation because it doesn't create a clean hole for the jewellery.
The earrings are one size and as we know, not everyone's ears can accommodate this!
The earrings tend to be made of unsafe materials, causing reactions and irritation.

We get it, they seem a lot quicker and easier, especially for kids. But kids also deserve a proper, safe piercing. The thought of a needle can be scary too, we get it!

But the pros of needle piercing outweigh the pros of gun/mechanical piercings by a LONG SHOT! 🙏

Leave piercing guns in the past where they belong, it's 2025 - it's time to make sure everyone gets a safe, happy, healthy piercing ❤️

We also get that many people get gun piercings and are fine - that's totally cool, but why take the chance? So many kids come for repierces that are genuinely traumatised from a past experience with a gun and the complications afterwards. We aim to educate, but at the end of the day what you do with your body is YOUR CHOICE 🙏
