Greyscale with a pop of color 🩷

It’s been a long time since I last did this technique! This time, I took my time mapping out the shadows, highlights, and the pink glow.

I honestly thought this page would only take me a couple of hours since I was using just two colors in different tones. Boy, was I wrong! 😆 I had to take a break and finish it the next day because my grey marker was almost out of ink. (Another reminder of why having backups is always a good idea! Haha)

But I’m so happy with how this page turned out! Definitely worth the extra time and effort. 🩷

Sharing this Joyjar page I colored last year, and it’s reminding me all over again how cute this book is! 🫶🏼

I was in my trying a million different types of paper for TLP era back then. Haha!
