History muna tayo mga Lods.
The Thirteen Martyrs of Cavite were a group of 13 individuals executed by the Spanish colonial government on September 12, 1896, in Cavite Puerto (now Cavite City) during the Philippine Revolution. They were known for their resistance against Spanish rule and were pre-emptively arrested and tried for conspiracy, even though no actual uprising had taken place in Cavite City.
Here's a list of the Thirteen Martyrs:
Maximo Inocencio, Jose Lallana, Severino Lapidario, Victoriano Luciano, Eugenio Cabezas, Feliciano Cabuco, Luis Aguado, Alfonso de Ocampo, Hugo Perez, Antonio San Agustin, Francisco Osorio, Maximo Gregorio, and Agapito Conchu.
Their executions fueled the revolution and led to the proclamation of Philippine Independence on June 12, 1898, by General Emilio Aguinaldo. The city of Trece Martires was later named in their honor, and its 13 villages were also named after each of the martyrs.
