MEDICAL APPEAL FOR MR. LISTA LAKA — NBC RADIO INTERVIEW
Good morning to everyone listening across Port Moresby and Papua New Guinea.
Today, we are making a special appeal for one of our respected musicians, Mr. Lista Laka, who is currently facing medical challenges and needs our support.
Lista Laka is a talented Papua New Guinean guitarist and recording artist who has contributed to our country's music industry over many years. His musical journey includes recordings released through CHM Supersound, including his well-known work "PNG Medley." He has also been recognised as the lead guitarist of Chanted Groove, who represented Papua New Guinea's music community at the 2010 APRA Summit in Sydney, Australia.
He is a musician who has shared his talent and passion with many people through his music. Today, it is our turn as a community to give back and support him during this difficult time.
We are therefore appealing to everyone, musicians, artists, friends, families, businesses, organisations and the general public to come together and support the Medical Appeal Fundraiser for Mr. Lista Laka.
Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a difference towards his medical treatment and care.
We invite everyone to join us at the fundraiser and help us support a fellow musician who has contributed to the music industry of Papua New Guinea.
