❤️🥁 A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO OUR SOHUMANYAH DIE-HARD FAMILY 🥁❤️
As the Garamut and Canoe Festival comes to an end at Chalakupwen Beachfront, Mokereng Village, Los Negros LLG, Beautiful Manus Island, we pause for a moment to look back—not only at the performances, the Garamut beats, the dances and the celebrations, but at the people who stood behind us and kept us going when the journey became challenging. 🙏❤️
To our Sohumanyah die-hard family, words alone cannot express how grateful we are. Your financial assistance, food supplies, encouragement, prayers and genuine love carried us through this festival.
Every contribution, whether big or small, meant something to us. Every bag of food, every kina given, every word of encouragement and every act of kindness became part of the Sohumanyah story at this festival. ❤️🙏
You may never fully understand how much your support meant to us. There were moments when things were difficult, but knowing that our family was standing behind us gave us the strength to keep moving forward.
🔥 Special appreciation to Kaliu Peter Sion and family — thank you for your generosity, love and unwavering support. Your contribution will always be remembered.
🔥 Bro. George Mwandren Pwasaii — thank you sincerely for standing with Sohumanyah and helping us along this cultural journey. Your support touched our hearts.
🔥Kaliu George Sikin.Thankyou for your generosity.Your contribution will always be remember.
❤️ And to our beautiful Mokereng family — we simply cannot thank you enough. From the moment we arrived until the very end of the festival, you continued to support, care for, accommodate and look after us. You welcomed us not as visitors, but as family. That kindness will remain deeply engraved in our hearts.
This festival has reminded us of something very important:
Culture is not kept alive by dancers alone.
Culture is kept alive by FAMILY.
Culture is kept alive by PEOPLE who believe.
Culture is kept alive by those who are willing to sacrifice, support and stand together. ❤️🥁🌿
Sohumanyah Cultural Group is truly blessed to have a family like you behind us.
We came together carrying our Garamut beats, traditional dances and the spirit of Manus, and we leave with something even more valuable—the memories of the people who stood beside us.
Our Garamut may have stopped beating for the festival, but the heartbeat of Sohumanyah continues to beat strongly. ❤️🥁🔥
To every single person who contributed, supported, fed us, encouraged us, prayed for us or simply stood proudly with Sohumanyah—THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS.
May God richly bless you, your children and all your families. May He return your kindness to you many times over. 🙏❤️
