Another throwback to 5th grade at Sikwong Primary School, Menyamya... did that drawing for the group's big book project. This drawing was an aid to recount genre, featuring the "Hunter's Luck" as our title of the story.

Finally, She's off my easel!🖌⛰️🇵🇬

This painting celebrates the beauty, identity, and cultural richness of the people of Simbu Province, Papua New Guinea.

The subject is more than a portrait. She represents the enduring connection between people, mountains, land and culture of Simbu Province. The cream-white and gold forms at the bottom background are inspired by the limestone landscapes found throughout the mountainous region of Simbu. The vibrant yellow and rich warmth surrounding her speaks of the richness of their culture.

Through her attire and expression, I wanted my brushworks to celebrate a culture that continues to carry its identity through generations.

For collectors who appreciate PNG culture, contemporary portraiture and original fine art, this piece is available for acquisition.

51st Independence Anniversary with Open-air Painting at Home, Menyamya 🇵🇬🇵🇬🇵🇬

Though it was my first attempt for doing painting at open air, I gained confidence from the public while doing that portrait painting at exactly 3 hours and 8 minutes.

While doing this painting for the public viewing, I am happy that somewhere in the crowd, there are some little artists there who watched me painting from the blank canvases till a face emerges completely. I hope my brushwork inspired them while I gained the confidence.

I am truly grateful for everyone who stopped by, watched and supported me.

It feels even much better by giving back to where most of my inspiration comes from.
