✨ A successful concert of Russian musical instruments took place in Muscat with the support of the Embassy of the Russia in Oman and the Russian House Oman.
Music and culture came together in Muscat this afternoon as Omani and Russian communities gathered for a special concert celebrating friendship and cultural exchange.
🎶 The ensemble of soloists from the “Russian Chimes” Orchestra delivered a vibrant, heartfelt, and truly inspiring performance, presenting a rich blend of Russian folk, classical, and jazz music.
The audience also enjoyed live performances featuring traditional Russian instruments, including the iconic three-string triangular balalaika, known for its distinctive sound and deep roots in Russian heritage, creating a lively atmosphere where melodies and cultural expression came together.
🇷🇺🇴🇲 Around 50 guests attended the event — including our compatriots, friends from Oman, and visitors from other countries; the youngest listener was just 8 months old.
Beyond music, the evening reflected the growing cultural ties and people-to-people connections between Oman and Russia through the universal language of art.
