✨ On the workbench lately… ✨

SO many name buntings, lots of packing orders and plenty happening behind the scenes! 🤭💖 I’ve also been busy getting the website all up to date, so there’s lots of exciting things happening around here!

Just a little heads up I’ll be out of the sewing room all of next week, which means orders will be a little delayed while I’m away. 🧵💕

If you’re hoping to get your order before then, now’s the time to order! 🥰 You can pop your order through online or send me a DM and I’ll get you sorted.

Thank you as always for keeping me so busy I absolutely love creating all your gorgeous orders 💖

I got asked yesterday if I made all of these myself.
It’s a question I’d never really thought about before… but yes, I did! 🤍

Made during nap times, when I probably should have been tackling the ever-growing pile of washing, 3 coffees deep after a sleepless night or late at night. Sitting with mr alby while he played and I added the finishing touches. Sneaking in making just one more item before I had to be somewhere.

Each piece was created at a different stage of life, in different seasons, and somehow they’ve all become little reminders of the time, love and effort that went into making them.

It’s pretty special looking back and seeing them all together. ✨

Here’s a little throwback… and a long story. ❤️

This photo popped up in my memories this morning. The ruffle pillowcases I made for a pop-up shop around this time last year.
Within three days, they had ALL sold! It was amazing!! 🥹
I was so excited that I quickly ordered more fabric so I could go into full production… and then…
My entire world fell apart.

Within days, I had to pack everything I could into four suitcases and make my way back home to NZ.

In the time since, Kmart, Target and other places have brought out their own ruffle pillowcases probably for half the price of mine! 😂

But you know what? That hasn’t stopped me.
Today, I’m back in my sewing room, making ruffle pillowcases again.

Yes, it’s “just a pillowcase.”
Yes, you can buy one at Kmart.
But for me, it’s so much more than that.

I think it’s pretty cool to look back and see how far I’ve come, and to be back here again, picking up where I left off… a whole year later 💖

Things that made my heart so full after my first NZ market 🥹💕
🤍Bringing my dream setup to life. Seeing everything come together exactly how I’d imagined was such a special feeling, and all the colours made me so happy

🤍 Having my besties there by my side. They showed up, worked so hard, and made the whole day even more fun. So lucky to have them. 😭

🤍 The Print Factory surprising me in their Milly Moo tees... AND bringing homemade cinnamon scrolls. I definitely wasn’t expecting that. 😂😍

🤍 My little number one popping in for cuddles.

🤍 My family getting to experience Milly Moo in person after seeing all the behind-the-scenes work that goes into it.

And the biggest highlight... all of YOU! 🫶 Every person who came over to say hello, have a chat, support my little business, or wish me a happy birthday made the day so special. I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 🤍
