Just one day to go before the final weekend of Artists Open Studios Whanganui 2026!

Lucile Barjot Creative here. If you haven’t visited The Art Triangle NZ yet, this is your last chance. Keeley Eastwood Artist / Printmaker, Brad Mosen Photography and I will have our studio open again this weekend and would love to see you.

I’m sharing one of my favourite pieces from my display, as well as the lovely article about our studio that appeared this Thursday in the River City Press (thanks to Keeley).

Come by for a browse and a chat. It would be great to see you there.

Packaging up for a card restock ready for our second (and last!) 2026 Artists Open Studios Whanganui weekend...

Brad Mosen Photography and Keeley Eastwood Artist / Printmaker have greeting cards galore!

So, if you're needing a restock for Easter / Mother's Day, or just because, then The Art Triangle NZ is the place to head this weekend... 😉

Someone asked last AOS weekend whether people still buy cards and, yes, they do - in fact they're our best-sellers!

Many people love to take home a small and affordable memento of our art and others like having lovely cards on-hand, ready to send meaningful messages to loved ones for special and/or important occasions, such as birthdays, get well soon, compassion... 🥰

Our cards also make great 'gift companions' to Keeley's art and pendants, Brad's larger photography works and functional pottery wares by Lucile Barjot Creative. 😊

Think art, photography, animals, nature, bird and plant life, local beauty spots and more!

The ones shown in the photo by Keeley are just a tiny percentage of what we have available. We have lots of new releases, so come along for a browse... 👀

What a weekend it’s been!

Lucile Barjot Creative here, exhibiting alongside Keeley Eastwood and Brad Mosen as our new collective studio, The Art Triangle NZ, for Artists Open Studios Whanganui 2026.

Thank you so much to every single one of the 234 people who came along to see us during our first open studios weekend.

So many of you were friends, neighbours, and familiar faces from the community, and it really meant a lot to feel that kind of support around us. You came to browse, chat, and buy, and it created such a warm, uplifting atmosphere after all the time and care we’ve put into preparing for this beautiful (and slightly chaotic!) event.

A special thank you as well to those who chose to buy pieces made by our kids, it truly meant a lot. Seeing their work appreciated has made this experience even more special for them, and something they’ll remember.

We’re now getting ready to do it all over again, and we’re looking forward to seeing what this next weekend brings.

If you haven’t had a chance to visit yet, we’d love to see you, it’s the final weekend of AOS 2026.

Hello!

Keeley here exhibiting alongside Lucile Barjot and Brad Mosen as our collective new studio The Art Triangle NZ for Artists Open Studios Whanganui 2026...

I'd just like to personally thank every single one of the 234 people who came along to see us for our first open studios weekend!

You came to browse / chat / buy and it was such a buzz after all the hours and effort we've put in to exhibit in this crazy beautiful annual arts event! 🥰

One of the top highlights for me was when a lovely couple walked in 10 mins before closing time on Sunday and made a beeline for my framed original 'Quirky Lamoid' collagraph!

That man knew what he wanted before he even walked through the door...😂

This artwork edition seems to attract decisive people, I've noticed! 😉

What a way to end a weekend that we were already feeling on a high from - yay! 🥳

This one was number 5/10 from my edition of original handmade collagraphs.

I have just one more left, number four, before I'll need to create more in the edition. The next will be number six and, very excitingly, I have a new etching press (my first ever) to try out this year! 🎉

Another personal highlight was the number of 'Yorkshire' folk who showed up after reading our hook line in the AOS Guide - 'A Kiwi lad, a Yorkshire lass and a French gal have joined forces to bring you the power of three'...or something like that!

The fact it attracted Yorkshire folk out to meet the 'Yorkshire lass' was an unintended, but rather delightful extra positive outcome! 😊

Now we're looking forward to doing it all over again and we're excited to see what 'magic' this next weekend brings! 🌌

So come along to see us if you haven't already and help us make our second weekend as wonderful as the first - it's your last chance for AOS 2026! 😉

We had a great first day of Artists Open Studios Whanganui (AOS) today! 🎉

Thanks so much to everyone who came along to browse / chat / buy - we all really enjoyed meeting you and feel humbled by the level of support already! 😊

People seemed to find us easily at our Bombay Street, Aramoho studio and many even commented on how they appreciated our street signage guiding the way from town. So that's great to know it's working!

Here are some shots from the day at our The Art Triangle NZ studio, my and Lucile's mini ceramics display at Whanganui Potters' Studio (19 Taupo Quay by the AOS 'Starting Point Exhibition' and 'The Boring Gallery' in the Community Arts Centre), our AOS artist 'meet and greet' at the Starting Point launch lastnight and our Starting Point Exhibition piece by Keeley Eastwood Artist / Printmaker.

We are three artists from three countries bringing you three art forms of pottery, printmaking, photography and more for AOS 2026!

And we'll be ready to rock and roll again at our studio tomorrow:

We're on a fantastic trail of around eight other diverse and talented participating Aramoho artists, too, so we're well worth a Sunday jaunt along our beautiful Awa to discover beautiful art...👍

Woah, .whanganui is just A FEW SLEEPS away now and we are busy making our final preparations and finishing touches to our art, ready to open our gallery space this and next weekend!

On Sunday we had a final epic studio set up session and this morning alone we’ve handed in our AOS ‘Starting Point’ exhibition piece, picked up our yellow flag, popped more ceramics on the kiln shelves at , distributed some of our posters at places about town, dropped off some of our flyer packs to other Aramoho studios we’re collaborating with - and now, we’re sharing about it on social media!

And that’s just so far this morning - there is sooooo much more than ‘making art’ involved in taking part in this annual arts event - and we hope you’ll come along to see the fruits of our efforts!

We are ‘The Art Triangle’ and Studio No. 39 in the AOS Trail Guide and on the AOS website.

A host of fun ceramic treasures drying in the sun after sanding and washing...🌞

Lots of one of our 'young artists' creations here, which he's been busy making ready for his first art stall at our upcoming open studios!

Mixed in with some goodies for the 'arty experiment lucky dip' we'll have - and a few keepers we're not willing to part with, lol.

First two guests on each Saturday of our open weekends get to choose a 'freebie' from our lucky dip! 👀

We reckon lots of these treasures will make cute little Easter treats of the none-choccie variety!

Think whimsy, animals, nature, retro, decorative, quirky... 🦙🐷🌱🌈

Cash appreciated for kids' creations and lucky dip purchases. 🙂
