📣🎶 Exciting Announcement from the Wellsford Drama Club! 🎶📣

We are pleased to announce that one of our committee members and his daughter will be performing at the Country Music Honours (also known as the Golden Guitar Awards) in Gore tomorrow night!

🎤 Pat McDonald and his daughter Nikki will take the stage with an original song—written by Pat, sung by Nikki, and accompanied by the Honours stage band. They are among ten finalists competing for the MLT Songwriting Award, a prestigious and highly respected accolade in the music industry. Finalists were selected from over 300 entries across New Zealand, Australia, and the USA!

Their song, “Get To Know My Heart,” was first performed by Nikki at the 2024 Wellsford's Got Talent competition, where she earned the runner-up position. The song explores themes of post-breakup vulnerability and the courage it takes to trust again and start a new relationship.

Last time we had contestants from Rodney & Kaipara, will you be our next Wellsford’s Got Talent winner. Finals Night is May 25th.
