BEHIND THE BUCKETS 🪣 with our beautiful photographer Afrina Razi ❤️

What’s not captured in these are ALL incredible people who came together to support this gig with illness changing up our plans! Thank you to Q (Quentin Potts) who helped Nina rig buckets at 9:30am, thank you to Rachel Rouge who volunteered as Stage Manager and came suited and booted for the task, Guanny (Guanny Liu-Prosee) who kindly stepped in to support with box office and Mike (Mike Blue) who ushered for us!

The pros of a small team means that we can direct any pūtea we have to artists and investments in the longevity of their work, but the cons are so much rides on us to get done! We are so lucky to have such an incredible, professional and generous community, thanks for believing in ‘A Welly Full of Laughs’ as much as we do ❤️

(Also big ups to Austin who worked hard stringing buckets and producing whilst being very sick)

Arohanui, till the next one!

TWO REVIEWS ARE IN (and they nearly love the acts more than we do!) 🧡🧡🧡 "Stand-out" ⭐️ "World-class" ⭐️ "Polished" ⭐️ "Stellar" ⭐️ "Charming" THE LOT OF THEM!

Thanks Elliott Lam and Theatreviewnz Tara McEntee for your thoughtful words!

"I have to commend Mon Platon Productions for their programming for this show; every comedian had something different to offer, be it a unique format, a distinctive stage presence, or a twist on their usual style. [...]

A Welly Full of Laughs perfectly showcases the incredibly varied talent we cultivate in this city, and that is something we as Wellingtonians should continue to foster." - Theatreview
