Known for their extraordinary five-octave vocal range, signature looping style and ability to play more than 20 instruments, Tash has gone from busking on the streets of Melbourne to selling more than a million tickets worldwide, headlining major festivals and selling out iconic venues across the globe.

Now entering an exciting new chapter, Tash returns with new single “Something In The Water” and a highly anticipated new album on the way.

There’s something pretty special about a city where you can walk from venue to venue and discover some of Aotearoa’s best musicians, poets and performers all in one night.

That’s exactly what GREAT SOUNDS GREAT is bringing to Wellington.

On Saturday 5 September, Eyegum Music Collective is taking over the heart of Te Aro with 40 incredible Aotearoa artists across 10 venues, creating one giant inner city celebration of music, creativity and everything that makes Pōneke’s arts scene so damn good.

Think Bic Runga, Savage, Beastwars, Hemi Hemingway, Silicon, So So Modern, Mokotron, MĀ, Pitch Black, Amamelia, a DJ set from local MP Tamatha Paul, plus heaps more...all playing within walking distance of each other.

Add in a brand new venue at meow NUI, a travelling stage from Tonic Collective, poetry, live scored cinema and a whole lot of late night energy and you’ve got the kind of night that makes Wellington feel like Wellington. ❤️

But the party actually starts the night before! On Friday 4 September, The Night Before is taking over three venues in Newtown village with 12 incredible up and coming artists. It’s the perfect warm up for the main event and a pretty good excuse to make a whole weekend of it.

This is a true celebration of Wellington’s creative spirit, our iconic venues, our artists and the people who keep Pōneke buzzing. We reckon the city deserves more nights like this.

Reb Fountain: Water For Gasoline Album Tour

Water For Gasoline delivers another striking body of work from one of New Zealand's most acclaimed contemporary artists. It’s Reb at her most assured and confident. An album for now, confronting the challenges of our times while searching for light, beauty and connection amongst the noise.

The same artistic instinct and collective spirit that shapes Water for Gasoline has long defined Reb Fountain’s live performances, with her live band taking her recordings to the next level. In celebration of her new work, Reb brings an enhanced band line up to audiences across Aotearoa and Australia this October, featuring Dianne Swann and James Duncan alongside bandmates Dave Khan & Earl Robertson.

Joining Reb in Wellington is Otago artist Mads Harrop. After conquering the Student Radio Charts with her single ‘Contagious’ in 2020 Mads has continued to highlight themes of neurodiversity through her music. Her diagnosis of Tourette's syndrome in 2019 directly affects her songwriting with her track ‘Hiding in Colour’ written shortly after her diagnosis to help her through the challenge. Playing with her full band for both shows.

Critically acclaimed multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer Louis Baker returns, celebrating his forthcoming second studio album, Trouble, released on 9 October.

Written, produced and arranged by Baker across 2024 and 2025 from his studio in Titahi Bay, Trouble is rooted in timeless songwriting, blending retro-soul influences with contemporary production. Across nine songs, the album unfolds as Baker's most assured work to date, balancing social observation with reflections on love, resilience and the work of confronting himself.

To celebrate the release of Trouble, Baker will perform songs from the new album alongside favourites from across his catalogue.
