Kia ora amigos, I hope you are well.
I would like to invite you to this special event happening at AWHI Yoga & Wellbeing.

We will gather to celebrate, remember and honour our ancestors and loved ones loved ones that have past away.
The Day of the Dead is one of the traditions that has remained alive throughout the centuries; the main holidays are November 1 & 2, which UNESCO designated and cataloged as an Intangible Heritage of Humanity in 2003.

I will explain why it is important to celebrate and take the time to honour and remember the members of your family, ancestors and loved ones who have passed away. He will also explain the mysticism and spirituality around the Day of the Dead celebration.

We’ll also learn how to set up your ofrenda, or altar, and which elements are important for it (as well their meaning).
All this with live music from prehispanic and modern Mexican instruments , history facts and storytelling.

We will be sharing Champurrado which is a cacao and corn prehispanic drink.

Hola amigos, we are very excited to bring this beautiful offering to AWHI Yoga and Wellbeing one more time.

The offering is a 2 hours experience, including an introduction to this amazing cultures that lived in Mesoamerica, rituals for reconnection, sharing drumming and singing traditional chants, Hot Cacao, Live Mexican Prehispanic music with authentic traditional instruments such a shamanic drums, clay drums, clay flutes, rattles, shakers, native American flutes.

The music goes in different stages, starting mystical and introspective to then pass to rhythmic and empowering drums and high pitch flutes and chants. We finish laying down and listening more relaxing and soothing soundscapes of nature and single instruments.

We have set up an early bird price for the first 10 bookings at $45 then $55.

Everyone is welcome , kids are free entry with an adult.
