Now on sale in Boston, USA. This Burgintwanger has a soundboard 45,000 years old - made from glorious New Zealand swamp kauri. Ancient trees fell into a Northland swamp and stayed preserved for thousands of years - waiting to be turned into beautiful great sounding guitar soundboards!

We got a load of glorious maple tonewood from our friends at at Timeless Instruments in Saskatchewan, Canada - and had to turn it into something special.

We were shocked and stunned to find the string cupboard was bare this morning at Burgin guitars International. So we're twiddling our thumbs waiting for a string shipment.

We are keen to hear these new weissenborns, particularly the middle one which has a top made from 30,000 year old New Zealand kauri dug up from a swamp. This is highly sought after and valuable quartersawn tonewood from the swamps of Northland, and we have a couple of bits around.
