Burgin Guitars International does have customers in France, but we understand none of our weissenborns or citterns were in this room at the time. Imagine the viral tik tok video!

Now on sale in Boston, USA. This Burgintwanger has a soundboard 45,000 years old - made from glorious New Zealand swamp kauri. Ancient trees fell into a Northland swamp and stayed preserved for thousands of years - waiting to be turned into beautiful great sounding guitar soundboards!

The late, incomparable David Lindley owned two of Paddy Burgin's Weissenborns. Need we say more?

American multi instrumentalist Will Evans recently performing with his Burgintwanger. Is there anything he doesn't play?

We got a load of glorious maple tonewood from our friends at at Timeless Instruments in Saskatchewan, Canada - and had to turn it into something special.

We were shocked and stunned to find the string cupboard was bare this morning at Burgin guitars International. So we're twiddling our thumbs waiting for a string shipment.

We are keen to hear these new weissenborns, particularly the middle one which has a top made from 30,000 year old New Zealand kauri dug up from a swamp. This is highly sought after and valuable quartersawn tonewood from the swamps of Northland, and we have a couple of bits around.

These instruments are available and could help bring some light into your day in these troubled times. Get back to me on [email protected] if you are interested.

A Baritone Burgintwanger is about to head off the United States. But how long can I hold on to this jumbo sliding machine for a bit more after work pickin'?

Some of Tasmanian Tonewoods' finest timber is in this deep throated axe tuned down to A with heavy strings. I forgave the hardness of the wood (blunted every chisel and scraper) once I saw the quality shine through under fine sandpaper.

It has a nice tweed case with wine red interior...gonna have a comfy trip across the Pacific.
