🖤🏡 In late May I had a fab morning tea with some special guests invited…. As it was my baby girls birthday coming up we had an early celebration for Searah💜 …. It was so nice to make use of the china I’ve collected over the years and I love baking …… I made “Annabel Langbein’s” spinach tart, carrot🥕 cake🧁 egg sandwiches 🥪 hot scones with jam and cream, Chocolate Fudge Cake…. It was a most memorable tea/coffee occasion with special friends and my precious grandson💚Beaudean🏡🖤

🖤🏡 I recently finally got to fill this beautiful cupboard I inherited from my late Mum💗 ……. We added some more shelves and it’s perfect
Mum used it for her sewing 🧵 fabrics
My husband Willie has the bottom two shelves for extra pantry stuff and the bottom draw is huge and houses the vacuum sealing machine and other items not used often🏡🖤

Rocking Horse 🐴 Mum brought 35yrs ago when Kate was small for her home 🏡 when future grandchildren came …… Mum passed it on to me when Jade & Aleah were born…… it’s just had a touch up of paint, glue around the neck, waxed and Willie polished with a brush …….. so it’s all ready for Dean to collect to take home 🏡 for Beaudean💚 to enjoy as his Mum did

🖤🏡 Boards just need Lacquer and they are all done and ready for Homes 🏡…… comment in the photos which are your favourites…….. the plain wood side is just maintained by rubbing cooking oil on and it’s the side you cut on…… the decorative side is for laying cookies, cake, warm plates….. they make gorgeous place mats to rest your dinner on if you’re eating in the lounge watching T.V 📺

A quick change of plan for this morning before gardening….. a few gifts to make…. I saw this idea 💡 on facebook…… get a pretty serviette and pull away bottom white layer….. cut tissue to fit candle 🕯️ …… roll around candle and cut a piece of baking paper ……. the instructions were to use an iron but I thought using a flat top stove element was way better……. Had the element on low to medium heat, lay baking paper down and then roll the candle around until all is melting 🫠 a little…… you’ll notice the colour of the tissue becoming clear and see it through the baking paper …….. a sweet gift and especially for Christmas with gorgeous serviettes ….. I just brought some gorgeous Christmas ones from Annah Stretton Easter sale which will be perfect at Christmas 🎄
