An Order came in just after posting off the winners prizes! Luckily for me my māmā came 😁 brought my boy home after spending the weekend with them along with hāngi she made! Soo yum!

So many lessons learnt in this piece 🫣
Yesss you can be your own worst critic when it comes to anything thats made by your hands!
My big girl would always come check on me and see how my progress is each day. She'd get excited with how it all looks! Her approval is what mattered most! Looking forward to photos of my children's time in Christchurch! So excited for them all ❤️

End of day 4 and just in time for dinner! Yussss! Lol. Keep in mind I've had a ton of breaks. I would say the timeframe of completing one without interruption would significantly be less than where I'm at now but hei aha! We all need plenty of breaks 😁

A Taonga in the making for my eldest girl to wear at prom 🫣😬 so far it's going smoothly! First day was designing her Taniko pattern and what she wanted to represent she also wanted a Taonga she can wear anywhere anytime... it's now day 3 lol.. moving slowly but still moving 😁
Roll on next weekend! My kids will be flying to Otautahi for Wiki Hā 🙌🏾

Still haven't quite got the right combo for the color scheme I've wanted to create. Mixing and matching between 5 colors and trying to utilize all 5 in a plait has been quite difficult. And I bet you it would be so simple once I do get it lol.
