We're preparing for a fantastic weekend at the markets. You'll find us this week at ...

Corban Estate Arts Centre for the Matariki Evening Market on Friday 4:30 - 8:30pm.

and at the Kumeu Market in the Kumeu Showgrounds on Sunday 9am - 2pm.

New creations include beautiful Huia feathers and garden carvings. We will be posting these later in the week.

We love feathers… can you tell?
The meaning is unique to everyone.🌻
Every piece we make begins as a drawing and a custom template.
Next, we find the perfect piece of reclaimed wood. Once cut, it goes through a long process of sanding, grinding, and more sanding. Then, once all the messy sawdust part is complete, we work to make it sweet.
Stains, dyes, paints, oils, and varnish are all part of the process. Each piece is different—we try not to make anything the same, which is actually easy when using reclaimed wood and working by hand.
Then, it's ready for you.
