I had the pleasure of working alongside these wonderful wahine in Riverton a few weeks ago 🤩

There was an abundance of delicious snacks of plenty of wonderful creativity in the room.

It was extra special to see a few generations in the room painting alongside each other. Even the baby in on the action, being held while the artists painted, very impressive to see!

Happy Birthday Maisie 🍦 🎨

An arty party to celebrate turning 6 was the perfect option for Maisie and her friends. They all enjoyed creating their own ice creams and were very excited to be able to take their artwork home.

A few months ago had the pleasure of running a painting session for the amazing crew from Whanake House’s social club.

For a lot of these young adults this was very out of their comfort zone but they surprised themselves with their hidden talents 👨‍🎨

Mothers’s Day: Tote bag edition

On a wild and wet Sunday afternoon these lovely ladies gathered for a fun afternoon of painting a tote bag with their loved ones whilst enjoying a bubbles and delicious snacks.

There was plenty of creativity in the room and cool bags to take home as memories of an excellent afternoon.

Arty parties are the easiest birthday party ever. The girls has a great afternoon painting the afternoon away and bantering with each other.

Reduce the pieces of paper around the house with this simple one cut book!

Can be made with A3 or A4 paper.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Fold page in half landscape
Open up to portrait and fold in half and in half again
Open back up to half and cut to the fold line ( make sure you are cutting the side of the paper that has the fold crease)
Turn back to landscape and fold in half then push the ends into the middle to fold
These books can be made into cute story books, photo books, art books and more.

Arty parties are the easiest birthday party ever. Miss Reid sets up ,runs the party and packs it up at the end. You can sit and have a coffee or do those life admin jobs, it’s a win win situation ☺️
