🌲 THE SMALL BUT MIGHTY TEAM 🌲
Three people. Months of planning. A LOT of emails, forms, spreadsheets, phone calls, decisions, lists, deadlines and “oh, we still need to sort that” moments. 😅
There were licences to apply for, exhibitors and sponsors to contact, volunteers to coordinate, raffles to organise, marketing to create, forms to build, questions to answer and approximately 847 little things that needed sorting along the way. And somehow, all those moving pieces had to come together in one hall, on one weekend.
So, a little shout-out to the three of us - Linley, Anika and Samantha. Small but mighty, and very proud of what we’ve pulled together. 💚
And we definitely can’t forget the husbands who have been along for the ride too! From manual labour and hours behind google forms, to childcare, problem-solving, errands and all the other bits and pieces that needed doing - thank you. We couldn’t have done it without you! Thank you for putting up with the many, many hours this all took and the fact that the exhibition has basically been another family member for months.
A final little shout-out to Rach at The Pinehaven Store, who fuelled us through meetings and the exhibition, checked in on us, provided a listening ear and sound advice, and helped in any way she could 💚
And to her wonderful customer Maria, who saved our very last nerves by taking the bunting-making off our hands, donating her time and materials for our outdoor bunting, and lending us the gorgeous bunting for inside too. What a legend!
We feel so blessed to be part of such a wonderful, creative and caring community 💚
The hall is packed down, the exhibition is officially done, and while there are a few final bits and pieces happening behind the scenes, we can finally say…
WE DID IT! 🌲🎨💚😴
