⛵️ 𝗙𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆? Small crafts (sailing). Some of the best days were spent out on the water!⁣

🎭 𝗔 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗲’𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁? Playing Wendy in her Blue Surge Sing entrance, 𝘗𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘗𝘢𝘯, and co-writing a fourth tune line that still says it all: “At Robindel, our Neverland, a kid I’ll stay with you.”⁣

❄️ 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝘂𝗻? Zoe and her sister make the trip back to visit camp every summer. And one year, they even went in MARCH just to see camp covered in snow!⁣
⁣
💼 𝗛𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝘀𝗮𝗸𝗲? Her Robindel bag. If you were a Camp Robindel camper in the 90s or 2000s, you know exactly what she is talking about!⁣
⁣
🌳 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗻𝗸? You’ll find her staying active outdoors with her family. As she puts it, “We live in Summer 365!”⁣
⁣
🧡 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝟯𝟲𝟱? She wanted to turn her lifelong love of camp into something meaningful - helping other families discover the same magic she’s experienced firsthand.⁣
⁣
And what is she most excited about?⁣
Getting to work alongside a team of people who love camp as much as she does - and having an excuse to talk about it 𝟯𝟲𝟱 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗮 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿.⁣

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱.⁣

A childhood where she has the freedom to learn, grow, make choices, use her voice, discover who she is - and simply be a kid.⁣
⁣
This year’s International Day of the Girl calls for investing in girls’ rights and protecting every girl’s right to her own future. Around the world, millions of girls are still denied that freedom.⁣
⁣
At camp, we’re lucky enough to see what can happen when girls are given the space to grow. ⁣
⁣
They get muddy. Get loud. Try something new. Lead the cheer. Lost the game. Try again. Make decisions, solve problems. Take risks. Make friends. Laugh until they can’t breathe.⁣
⁣
They aren’t preparing to become strong girls someday.⁣
⁣

On Tuesday, November 10th, camp people everywhere will open their drawers, pull out a favorite camp tee and wear a little piece of summer into the real world. ⁣
𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗧-𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸.⁣
For 16 years, this tradition has brought together campers, counselors, alumni, parents, directors, and camp people around the world for one⁣
very simple reason:⁣
𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮 𝘁-𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘁 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻.⁣

If your family already knows where your camper will be spending Summer 2027, now is a good time to check your camp’s enrollment dates. Many camps offer early enrollment incentives - and depending on the program, those deadlines can come up quickly. ⁣
⁣
But here’s the other part we think is just as important:⁣
𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂.⁣

If you’re still deciding between camps, considering sleepaway for the first time, or figuring out whether a particular program is the right fit, it’s okay to keep asking questions.⁣

We talk a lot about what kids do at camp.⁣
Swim. Waterski. Play. Cheer. Create.⁣
⁣
But some of the most important things they do happen in a place with absolutely no activity period attached to it.⁣
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗻𝗸.⁣
⁣
Because living with other people is complicated.⁣
⁣
Someone is messy. Someone talks when you’re trying to sleep. Someone gets left out. Someone hurts someone’s feelings. Someone needs more space. Someone needs more attention. ⁣
⁣
And unlike a playdate, you don’t just go home at the end.⁣
So kids learn how to navigate it.⁣
⁣
They communicate. Compromise. Advocate for themselves. Apologize. Forgive. Ask an adult for help when they need it. ⁣
⁣
And somewhere along the way, a group of kids who simply got assigned to the same cabin starts to feel like something much bigger.⁣
⁣
