🧵✨ Well, look who wandered back to the sewing room... ✨🧵

It seems my sewing machine and I have both been gathering a little dust while life whisked me away on other adventures. The fabric stash grew, the unfinished projects quietly multiplied, and my pins have been wondering where I disappeared to.

But the spell has been broken! Heres two beautiful aprons my little boy and myself made together.

The scissors are snipping, the machine is humming, and the thread is once again dancing through fabric. After a rather long intermission, I'm back behind the sewing table, creating, mending, and bringing new ideas to life.

Thank you to everyone who's stuck around while my sewing room took its little nap. I can't wait to share what I've been working on and all the projects still waiting in the wings.

Hey lovely customers,

So sorry for the lack of communication, I've been in hospital for the last 6 weeks and last week we welcomed our little baby boy via emergency C-section. A little sooner than expected and is spending time on the special little baby unit.

Unfortunately Lola's Creations is taking a wee break and we'll be back in a few month's time.

The simple pleasures of taking up jeans for customers

Ensuring the finer detail (aka tassels) are re-added, once the hem is at the new level.

Hey all,

just to show you a repair I've just finished for a client.

We all know horse riding gear isn't cheap but repairing and giving a new lease of life to these 3 pairs of jodhpurs saves them going to waste.

2 x knee pads (unpicking and re-stitching due to wear and tear)
1 x zip full replacement (as plastic teeth on zip had pulled away from actually zip).
3 x bottom stitching (top stitching unpicked and then re-stitched around bottom seating position)
3 x crotch repairs (re-stitched)

Unfortunately I didn't get a before picture but a midway picture showing original stitches and there wear and tear.
