We’re absolutely stoked to announce that we will also be welcoming Dev, aka - ‘Toks’ of T O I - T O K A to the team when we open our doors in Taupō this December.
Toks is a local Tā Moko Artist of Ngāti Tūwharetoa who has spent the past 4 years working in the tā moko space. He has also studied Māori and Indigenous Arts, which has helped shape his knowledge, creativity and practice within the artform.
Toks specialises in Tā Moko, with a strong focus on creating personalised designs that reflect each individual’s story and identity. His mahi is centred around the connection to whakapapa and cultural heritage, with every piece carrying its own story and meaning.
We are incredibly grateful to have Toks joining the team and are excited to provide a space where his mahi can continue to grow and reach more people within our community.
We couldn’t be happier to have him on board and look forward to sharing his mahi with you all.
