My jewellery largely reflects my belonging to Aotearoa( NZ).Often Pacific/Maori based motif and design with icon and imaginings with a lyrical twist.

I decided to rescue this wee guy (all 25mm of him) I have several small figures doing various things , but decided to save this one for now. The price of metal, I can't afford to just hang on to the whimsy .
Currently on a hoop earring, but was possibly destined for a necklace - Once upon a time.
My work used to be much more lyrical...full of characters and quirk. While they were fun to make, it turned out the world wasn't ready. So now I mostly stick to symbols and abstraction to say my thing.

Another Tourmaline. This one has very blue shifting tones so different depending on the light and angle. That's the beauty of Tourm's.. so rich in colour

One of my favourite gems . They come in a vast myriad of colours. This one green with olivey yellow tones. Set in dark 9ct rose gold. Slight assymetry to the band and narrow at the back for comfort.

Koru.. in symbolism, feels appropriate . As my mother passes through to the next realm, I too enter a new phase without both parents now..
Tomorrow we have our first day of Spring 🌱here in Aotearoa.
Life goes on for the living and so it is.

I've had this beauty for some time, the stone that is ..and it's been sitting on my bench with a setting in waiting for the right band. I finally married the two, keeping it simple in all respects as it's such a stunning stone. The cross.. well, just because.. a bold Kiss in black.. yellow, silver and black.. Oh Yes!
I've mislaid the paperwork for this stone so currently not selling as I can't price. I neither want to rip anyone off, nor sell myself short.. But it's done. There will be no others like it.
Yellow Sapphire, Sterling silver, 9ct gold.

(PS.. the colour is very rich..yellow with deep orange undertones.. the green tinge, I'm not sure, it just picked it up. )
