Appreciation Monday.
About two years ago, I started a small business, Julz Jewellery and accessories I never anticipated it would morph into something so much bigger and more exciting than I could have imagined.
Today, I want to do this shout out to you all, all the people and all the platforms that have helped me make this small business into what it is today.
Firstly, I'd like to do a big shout out to family. Without all of you, this little business would never have been possible.
To my amazing partner, Dave, you put up with all my crazy ideas and dreams, helping me put up and down the gazebos, picking up roadkill, and so many more other things. The list would be too long to mention. To my beautiful daughter, Holli you're always willing to help model my beautiful creations. You don't always love doing this, but you love your mama, so you always oblige.
Friends. From third form at high school, there's been one amazing person who's been my biggest supporter. Janine Clearwater, I couldn't have done this little journey without you. Cindy Liggett you put up with me moving into your house on a regular basis, help with markets, and believe in almost all of my crazy dreams.
To all my ring-ins when I've needed help at markets and other things. Jenna Mason, Emma Barker Marie Prictor , Mavis Parker , Holli Hamlyn Janna Nichol , Sara Gillies and so many, many more.
I want to say a massive thank you to the platforms that help us succeed in small business. I cannot thank New Zealand Rodeo enough for the magic that is the New Zealand Rodeo season. There is no way to describe how much Rodeo has helped my little business to thrive. If any of you ever have the chance to support New Zealand Rodeo in any way, please do so. These people are not just Rodeo people, they are family. Generations of new and old with a passion for horses, stock, and their kindness and support blows my mind every season.
To all the people that hold events big and small, you allow creators and makers like myself to grow. A special mention goes out to the Remarkables Market ,St Bathans Village Fete, St Bathans Vulcan Hotel, Wedderburn Tavern, and so many more.
I have so many future plans that I'm excited about, but there's one big one coming your way. It is in the pipeline and hopefully will be ready to unveil in a couple of months. Exciting is probably an understatement. I cannot wait to share it with you all. So keep watching and following.
To every person who has visited my stalls or my markets, purchased something, shared something on Facebook, put a like, I am eternally grateful for all your help.
