Lord God,
We lift up Venezuela before You today. You see every family, every child, every home, every tear that has not been spoken out loud.

We pray for peace in the midst of pressure, and provision in the places of lack. Strengthen the weary, protect the vulnerable, and surround the broken with mercy.

Jesus, You said there would be “birth pains” in the earth—signs that point us to the need for repentance, hope, and readiness. In these times, keep our hearts from fear, and anchor us in faith rather than panic.

Teach us to discern the times without losing compassion for people. Let us not grow cold or numb, but more loving, more awake, and more ready to do good.

Bring light into confusion, justice where there has been oppression, and hope where people feel forgotten. And let Your church be a place of refuge and truth.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

If God has placed a vision in your heart, and you have been sitting on it for a while…

Maybe your excuse is:
“I don’t have the money.”
“I don’t know where to start.”
“I don’t think this is the right time.”

But let me ask you something…

Is there ever really a perfect time?

The Word of God says:

“Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.” — Ecclesiastes 11:4

Sometimes we spend so much time looking at the clouds.

Waiting for the perfect conditions.
Waiting until we have enough resources.
Waiting until we feel ready.
Waiting for another sign.

But what if God has already spoken?

What if the confirmation you have been asking for has already come?

There are things that require prayer, wisdom, and waiting on God. We must be led by Him.

But there are also moments where God is saying:

“Go.”
“Start.”
“Move.”

And the hard truth is… sometimes what we call “waiting on God” is actually fear, doubt, or disobedience keeping us from stepping into what He has already asked us to do.

Faith is not having every answer before you move.

Faith is trusting the One who called you.

The seed will never grow if it stays in your hand.

At some point, you have to plant.

Because God can bless what you place in His hands.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7

Don’t spend your whole season watching the clouds.

Move when God says move.
Trust Him with the outcome.

“What voice has the greatest influence over your life — the voice of the world, the voice of people, or the voice of God?”

Because Psalm 1 reveals something powerful: before we ever see the fruit of someone’s life, we must examine the root.

A tree does not become strong overnight. The fruit we see on the outside is a reflection of what has been happening beneath the surface — in the hidden place.

The question is… what are we allowing to water our roots?

Are we being shaped by the opinions of people, the pressure of the world, and the noise around us? Or are we planted beside the living waters of God’s Word?

Because what we listen to, what we meditate on, and what we allow to influence us will eventually produce fruit.

A healthy root produces healthy fruit. A deep root survives storms.

So today, ask yourself:

“Am I planted in God, or am I being moved by everything around me?” 🌿

The Eagle goes through the moulting process, its a painful process, but the eagle needs to go through it because it has to shed the old feathers, moulting produces new feathers, so it can soar higher, if that is you! Praise God in the process

It's days like these when you.miss your family in Samoa, God created and gave us a language and culture, and He also gave us a redemptive plan. JESUS, today, like many other cultures around the world we all had our own stories of creation, but the story of creation in the book of Genesis supercedes them all.

My village of Fasitootai is known as the 2nd dawning or Taeaonalua of the gospel after Sapapalii and the gospel spread from here throughout Upolu.

A monument at the local EFKS etched the name of John Williams, along the missonaries and pastors that pastored since the 1800s including my great grandfathera Rev Niumagumagu Tiute and his wife from the village of Lepa, Fuifui Taiai Faolotoi.

So the story goes, this is where his family lived, (John Williams for a bit before he was killed on his last missionary trip) across the road from our malae, when Fasitootai became a missionary hub so to speak and on the land of my ancestors later sold for bag of flour material and goods to John Williams and registered under the London Missionary society.
Before it moved to Malua where the theological college is now.

Our family was known in the village as the family of faifeaus, to some in the village it was like yes but they were always quick to point out a few bad apples too! We all have them lol.

Even though my greatgrandparents had 8 children, none of them became preachers but their grandchildren, great grandchildren great great grandchildren are pastors in the LMS , PIC, Pentecostal, like many other Samoan Families that was the case.

The moral of my story is this, the bible talks about his blessing up to the 4th generations, the legacy we leave behind can either be a curse or a blessing, Jesus came so that you may have life and life more abundantly

Samoa is a called nation, that was the Word given to me by God when I moved to Samoa in 2004, you can't change it, you can deny it and the prayers of our forefathers, their faith mattered, it took them to other countries that faith in God, gave them hope to believe for a better future for their kids, their prayers, their determination and belief In the one true God, we must never diminish that, never play it down, never make light of it, cause the voices of reason in today's world is trying to say the opposite.

I'm alive today and blessed today because of the faith of my great grandparents.

We need to hold on to our ancestors faith in the time now, and apply the same faith to our lives today.

We are here because of their faith, that's why we are blessed with the things we have done for a small nation not to say we are superior we are not, we are blessed because we carry the flame of faith and the mantle and acknowledge that Jesus is Lord. That's why a personal relationship is more important than anything else.

Never forget who you are and who's you are. You belong to God if you call on His name.

Last night I had a moment with God that brought me to tears.

Not because I was giving up…

But because I realised I was trying to carry something that was never mine to carry.

In the middle of this season, in the middle of the storm, I cried out to God. I have prayed. I have fasted. I have stood on His promises. I have believed for breakthrough.

But in that moment, I felt Him gently speak to my heart…

“You cannot do this in your own strength.”

Because sometimes, even when we are seeking God, we can still find ourselves trying to control the outcome. We pray, we believe, we declare His promises — but deep down we are still trying to make things happen in our own timing.

And I felt Him say:

“You are in a season that requires you to be still. Not because I have forgotten you, but because I am teaching you to trust Me. You cannot build from striving. You have to learn to move from My rest.”

Because I realised I have been looking at my situation through the eyes of earthly time… wanting answers now, wanting change now, wanting to understand why now.

But God reminded me:

“I am eternal. My timing is not your timing. My ways are higher than yours. My healing is eternal.” .

Than God said, go back and find the text message I sent to you 2 years ago.

It was still on my messenger

A friend from Fiji sent it to me and said, “Lole, I’m not sure if this means anything to you, but I feel this has something to do with you and your family.”

At the time, we didn’t even know the journey we would be walking. We didn’t know what was ahead. We didn’t know we would move back to NZ and enter into this season.

The word was about an eagle going through the moulting process.

An eagle loses its old feathers so new ones can grow. It is a painful and vulnerable process. The eagle cannot soar the way it used to during that season… but the process is necessary. And if you will trust God through this painful process - You will soar higher than ever before.

And suddenly I realised…

This is my moulting season.

This season has stretched me.
This season has humbled me.
This season has brought me to a place where I have had to stop depending on my own strength and fully surrender to God.

The old ways are being removed.
The old patterns are being stripped away.
The need to control the outcome is being surrendered.

God is teaching me how to rest.

But God is teaching me something deeper…

Faith is not only trusting Him when He answers.

Faith is trusting Him while I wait.

James 1:2-4 says:

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”

And Isaiah 40:31 says:

“But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles…”

So today, I choose to embrace this season. because I know God is preparing something greater.

The eagle does not lose its feathers because it is finished…

It loses them because it is about to soar.

This season is not punishment.

This season is preparation.

I am learning to stop fighting the process God is using to shape me.

Lord, teach me to rest in You.
Teach me to trust Your timing.
Teach me to surrender what only You can carry.

Because when You bring me through this process…

I know I will rise stronger, wiser, and ready for everything You have called me to do.
