SUBZY - Netflix of Live Performance SUBZY was set up to address the challenges faced by the unsustainable, inequitable, and under-funded Arts ecosystem in Aotearoa New Zealand.

(in beta) We are building SUBZY - a membership programme for the Arts which will give members continuous access to a full range of arts and cultural events while also generating revenue for the arts sector. These issues have hindered the growth and sustainability of the industry resulting in limited earning potential for artists and a lack of accessible and affordable arts experiences for the wide

r public. SUBZY’s Membership model is based on the concept of Creatives empowering fellow Creatives to establish a self-sustaining Arts Ecosystem where we can reduce the reliance on local and central government funding (and bureaucracy) and support the creative sector with regular work, stable incomes and suitable housing, full venues, along with a bustling hospitality industry. SUBZY is a ‘Pay What You Can Afford’ membership platform with a $5 per week minimum subscription, paid monthly or annually.
