What a great weekend at Masterton last weekend 💥

Justin smashing out his new PB of 10.3 over the course of two days being super consistent with his racing and doing good burnouts, he managed to get our quickest 60ft of 1.49 aswell. Justin and Dad did great on their own without most of the team there to chip in and help out. Overall happy with how the weekend went.

Next meet Justin will be attending Wellington invasion at meremere bring it on 👊🏼

Ended the season with Justin racing at meremere at the final rounds of comp 5 meet. Car ran mint, lifted the wheelie bars higher and it was launching hard that it was three wheeling at launch. Justin managed to get our best 60FT of 1.49 and come home with his head held high happy with how the season ended.

Massive thanks to our dad Brett Giles and our small close little team, couldn’t have done this without all of your help.

So happy with how we ended Masterton Motorplex International Dragstrip racing season off with solid teamwork supporting eachother with positive energy and thoughts and great consistency in improving our racing performance, this was all done by our small close team we have and once again without dad there overlooking everything, bloody lucky to have a father that trusts his kids to run a meeting without him there.

Over the two days racing Justin ran consistent 10.3s his new personal best so he’s pretty stoked with ending the season with a massive high. Also smashing out the cars best 60ft of 1.505 along with improving on his burnouts.

Now time to now convince the old man to wind that boost up a few notches over the seasons break so we can then get into mid/ high 9s for next season. The LUV definitely has more potential in it, after running a hole season with the the new turbo set up in it I think we both as driver are confident enough to say we are ready for the next step.

Next event Justin will be racing at Meremere Dragway at Nostalgia Drags on 5th April

Great weekend at nationals meet, Masterton Motorplex finished off dragsligas meet at national due to that event being rained off and what do you know i managed to get 2nd place in super sedan finals and won a trophy, my first trophy 🏆 pretty proud of my self smashing out two PBs at that event 10.36 & 10.26 Unfortunately i wasnt there on sunday to cliam my trophy.

Justin ran the nationals meet and managed to get his new PB of 10.4 @ 129mph.

What an awesome weekend at Masterton Motorplex International Dragstrip
I ran the meet without dad there for the first time, he had all faith in Josh and I managing things on our own without him being there.

Friday arvo Josh was wrapped that the new intake pipe for the turbo to give it direct cool air turned up around lunch time so he of course quickly smashed that out on his own in a few hours.

Saturday meeting started on an absolute high with smashing out a new PB at 10.36 seconds and from there we had issues with the car it kept blowing the intake pipes off the manifold on two runs. We Temporally fixed that Saturday night once the day was over.

Sundays first run of the day came along and I smashed yet another new PB of 10.26 seconds at 130 MPH. The day unfortunately got cancelled due to weather and of course I had to be in the semi finals. Overall I am bloody pleased and proud of my self and the car for smashing out new PBs 🙌🏼

A big thank you to my partner Josh Lynch for holding the fort over the weekend without dad there and also thanks to my brother Justin Giles , Mum, Craig, CJ, Allen, Shane and the in-laws for the extra helping hand and advise, couldn’t have done it without you all chipping in.
