A kid who loves ?

Another Viv jersey, this time in four ply. You should buy her patterns because she has extraordinary customer service and is so wonderful.

Can you guess what critter is going to be mottled brown?

Green yarn of unknown providence, I suspect Little Red Yarn, who closed circa 2018

It was the Wool lovers Market Manawatu today,
This is my haul Dark Harbour Yarn I could have sold my lurex grey 4 times. I got several gasps of appreciation and "ooo, I didn’t see that one, when I was there"

& a shout out to the Manawatu lace makers, I caught the bug; I want to make more. They met on the 3rd Sunday of the month (except December) at the hall next to the recycling centre

¤ feature friday, even though it’s Monday

I chose the (sweet style) Little Golden Dragon from LilleBee-Memory Bears, Personalised Dolls & Soft Toys and got a companion for Mr Mini Crafty.
I'm saving up for a 'scary' navy one.

If this isn't the best review I don’t know what is

"[Mr 5 years] is currently making a "bedding burger" and he is using it as the rainbow sauce"

Rainbow sauce of a bedding burger sounds peak awesomeness. I love hearing that the items I make are loved by their owners, or older siblings 😄

Went to Capitol Fibre Fest yesterday.
Nearly met Viv aka cliftongreenknits irl, but a vendor was able to tell her Mr Mini Crafty was wearing his frog jersey.
The best thing about the trip is guilt free knitting time, I did all 6" of this sleeve.

This cheeky frog pattern can be knitted in 4ply & a fuzzy yarn, or 8ply,
The eventual owner doesn't like mohair but that green was too perfect to not use (and yes I did find a matching 2ply) so some of my jersey is 4ply held double and some is 8ply.
🐸
Technically it's also a baggy sock as the grey is the only yarn that isn't a sock yarn. (Cream yarn was just for photo as the white was a scrap)

Yarn: black, green, purple 💜 Purple Flamingo
Grey Gallipoli

New technique, new headache 🐸
Using both ends from 5 balls/cakes. They're a little tangled and I can't fix it.

Going to check that green under a black light it glows in minimal lighting conditions.
