I chose the (sweet style) Little Golden Dragon from LilleBee-Memory Bears, Personalised Dolls & Soft Toys and got a companion for Mr Mini Crafty.

Went to Capitol Fibre Fest yesterday.
Nearly met Viv aka cliftongreenknits irl, but a vendor was able to tell her Mr Mini Crafty was wearing his frog jersey.
The best thing about the trip is guilt free knitting time, I did all 6" of this sleeve.

This cheeky frog pattern can be knitted in 4ply & a fuzzy yarn, or 8ply,
The eventual owner doesn't like mohair but that green was too perfect to not use (and yes I did find a matching 2ply) so some of my jersey is 4ply held double and some is 8ply.

Technically it's also a baggy sock as the grey is the only yarn that isn't a sock yarn. (Cream yarn was just for photo as the white was a scrap)

There's now a matching hat

Pattern: Donnybrook Designz, Brickwork hat

This was an excellent game of yarn chicken. The red was roughly 4 loops of the ball before the shaping. On the plus side I know I can get a 6 year old vest & matching hat from 2 balls (each) of colour 2&3.





In true me fashion, this is as close as I got to taking a finished photo. It's now in Wellington with it new squishy own...
