Go Skate Day event at Paeroa Skate Park is cancelled this Sunday Due to Weather.

The rains forecasted to come in right on Sunday midday, and putting together the event is too risky at the park with the new surface. Once it’s wet it’s slippery and takes a while to dry again.

We’re moving ahead to focus on a Skate Jam / Opening day on Matariki weekend Saturday 11th July.

Weathers ok for this afternoon and Saturday, so head down for a skate! 😊

World Go Skateboarding Day - Sunday June 21st
In NZ this falls on the shortest day of the year but thankful it’s a Sunday this time. Early Skate school, BBQ and a jam could be on the cards? Weather permitting 😅

Locked in 🔒 Norwood Rd Skate Park Concrete Renovation is happening this Wednesday 27th May. Parks Closed Wednesday Thursday and possibly Friday. All work is weather permitting and postponement will happen if so. 🙏🏼

It will be a worksite for the 2 days so we please ask you to not cross the safety fencing around the park. We will be keeping you updated on the progress 🙂

A massive thanks to everyone who donated to the Givealittle page, directly or have supported the mission the past 12 months. Good things take time! We appreciate the communities support and can’t wait to see what the future holds for Hauraki Skate and the local skate community. 🛹

We have a couple of projects to finalise, but we have an opening day in the works! 😎

New Winter Skate School Schedule is out! 😎

Every Sunday 3pm - Gold Coin Donation per Skater 🤝- Paeroa Skate Park on Norwood Rd 🛹
We will hosting 1 Free Skate School on a select Wednesday each month to adapt to weather and the skate coach having to work. Keep an eye on the story for those updates 😁

This winter, Sunday is the new skate day 🛹

And we have some really good news coming out later this week about the skate park refurbishment. 👑 👑
